| Job Function | Tensorcom is a pioneer in 60 GHz WPAN communication
technology. Tensorcom is developing the most advanced
ultra-low power wireless technology in the wireless
marketplace and Tensorcom’s Engineering Team is actively
seeking highly qualified Platform engineers. Platform engineering team provides integration of our chipset product into production quality platform. As a member of the team, you will develop using diverse disciplines, such as hardware (board level and FPGA using VHDL/Verilog) and software (embedded and kernel drivers and user mode GUI). Work in a start-up team with aggressive design goals, great technical challenges and an environment which allows you to perform at your best. |
| Skills/Experience | - Strong experience in developing board level
product - High speed board level design (must know Altium or Orcad), RF a plus - FPGA design (must know VHDL/Verilog and ModelSim), embedded processor and multi-gigabit SERDES a plus - C/C++ programming for embedded processor, low level custom RTOS design and gdb use a plus - C/C++ programming for kernel mode driver for Win/Mac/Lin, full custom USB/PCI driver a plus - C/C++/VB programming for user mode application, GUI designs a plus - Version control, setup of GIT or SVN server a plus - Instrumentation using network analyzer and high speed scopes, automation using GPIB or VISA a plus - RF design experience a plus - Low level development knowledge of USB, PCIe, HDMI, gigabit ethernet, SATA (host + device) a plus |
| Education Requirements | Minimum Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering |
